Support the Every Disabled Child Matters Campaign, get involved.
Every Disabled Child Matters has just launched two campaign actions, so that supporters can lobby locally to get rights and justice for every disabled child. The actions we want people to take are:
- Lobby your MP to sign up in support of the campaign
- Lobby your Councilor to sign our Local Authority Charter
You can take part in these actions on our website here: http://www.edcm.org.uk/Page.asp?originx_1668sh_10946900132166z92d_2006972058f
You can contact me at info@edcm.org.uk for further information or support with this.
Please send this information around and ask people to take part in the above actions, and to sign up to support the campaign at www.edcm.org.uk if they haven't already done so.
Every Disabled Child Matters is a new campaign to get rights and justice for every disabled child. The campaign is supported by four national organizations working with disabled children - Contact a Family, the Council for Disabled Children, Mencap and the Special Education Consortium. We want 10,000 supporters to sign up to the campaign by December 2006. Join the campaign at www.edcm.org.uk - and ask everyone you know to do the same.
